Hello, everyone! Nice to meet you. We’re so excited to officially kick off Canada With You! Our Canada With You team is a group of bloggers who gathered together to share accurate and detailed information about life in Canada!

So, how did this blog come to life? It all started with a friend who came to Canada by chance to study and began adjusting to life here. As this friend navigated through daily life, they often chatted with a Canadian friend who helped answer all those little questions. And from those conversations, Canada With You was born.

Of course, there are already many people and online resources out there helping newcomers to Canada, but we thought it would be exciting to share information in our own unique Canada With You style. That is why we are here!

What does Canada With You cover in this blog?

At Canada With You, we have a big ambition: to cover all the essential information you need whether you’re traveling or living in Canada.

We’ll be updating useful tips and the latest news from across the country. But we’re not just summarizing or paraphrasing facts or content out there! We aim to share real insights and practical tips that we’ve learned from actually living, studying, and working here. For example, wouldn’t it be helpful to hear directly from a University of Toronto student about how to write a strong college application? Or tips on how to make sure you don’t miss anything when preparing your very first tax return?

We also want to be helpful not only for long-term residents or Canadian citizens but for tourists as well! We will let you know the well-known tourist spots, and we will introduce some hidden gems which only local people might know. We’ll also polish some practical travel tips to make your visit much smoother! Even though some tips are what you may heard of it, we aim to make everything easy to understand at a glance.

Who runs Canada With You?

Our Canada With You team is made up of people from a variety of backgrounds.
As mentioned, we have Canadian citizens who were born and raised here, as well as international friends who came to study (or work) and have since settled down with jobs in Canada.

We’re also lucky to be joined by amazing contributors who share our mission and help us expand our range of topics and put care into every post. (And we’re always welcoming more contributors!) Local small business owners, accountants, lawyers, and even industry experts with over 20 years of experience are joining our team.
